Calomel (WIP)

Bio

The volcanic island's resident recordkeeper, who was born and took up Sal's job after he became president. They're sweet, but have terrible organizational skills. Their shell is full of papers and books, and they're the only person who knows where anything is. Oh well, I guess that's why they're the one in charge of them. They're very smart and great at math.

Appearance

Calomel is a bit shorter than the average gem. Their body is dark brown with parts made of light brown matrix, dark red pieces of mercury sulfide, and miscellaneous mercury amalgam. Their hair is short, with four loops made of amalgam. Their outfit is black with yellow accents.

Composition

Calomel is made mostly of mercury chloride, with other bits of miscellaneous associated material.

Abilities

Calomel is toxic to organic life, though not as acutely as other toxic gems like chalcanthite. They wouldn't be able to donate pieces of themself to other gems, as their mercury content would kill the recipient's inclusions.
