Sculptures
For 3D stuff.
"Garble/Richard" 2022, Papier-Mâché

Behold the giraffe! This sculpture was made for an art project and lived in a public bathroom for a few weeks during which it had its head punched in, been dressed up, threatened by janitors and broken off the wall entirely. Now it lives in a public library safe from the hands of rowdy teenagers.
"Cyborgonopsid" 2023, Mixed media

Another art project from a little while back. I call this one the cyborgonopsid! It's a gorgonopsid of some indeterminate kind filled with mechanical stuff and various anthropocene detritus. Something something, parallels between the great dying and the climate crisis, something something. This project was a beast to make because of all the balancing difficulties that came with having the front and back half separate and the size itself. I almost didn't finish by the deadline, but if I had more time I would've liked to thicken up the neck and fill out the midsection a bit more, and maybe add some countershading markings. Either way, I'm proud I finished it at all.
