Salammoniac (WIP)

Bio

The volcanic island's first inhabitant. Sal has seen their home change quite a bit since they were born, though they're pretty chill about it. Or maybe they just don't speak up about it. They're rarely included in activities on account of being very fragile and rarely speaking, but they do like to write so they've been responsible for many of the records kept on the island. They've never been to the island where most gems are from, and probably never will either. They're friendly and laid-back and enjoy researching and recording things.

Debut: Terrifying Shadowy Figure

Appearance

Sal is much taller than the others, standing at about 6 and a half feet tall. They've never been polished into shape so they look like a newborn despite being centuries old, covered in spikes and crystal growth. They rarely ever wear clothes. They have one empty eye socket and another with an eye with a deep pink iris.

Composition

Sal is made entirely of ammonium chloride. Parts of them have become stained orange, yellow or blue due to picking up dirt and other chemicals over the years.

Abilities

The volcanic gases that circulate around the island are often made of the same material as they are. They can hang out near a fissue and crystals will grow on them, so they use this to seal up cracks and wounds without needing any glue. They dissolve in water.
